What can I expect from the Rehab Team?

Physical Therapy

Our Physical Therapists rehabilitative expertise help improve gait and balance; enhance endurance, strength, range of motion; teach safe transfers; prevent falls; recommend, educate and support the use of adaptive equipment and devices.

Speech Therapy

Our speech language pathologists are experts in speech, voice, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. They develop an individualized plan of treatment in collaboration with the patient and the patient’s physician for optimal therapeutic interventions and outcomes. Patients diagnosed with a stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), etc. may benefit from Speech Therapy.

Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists will evaluate patients for sensation, cognition, vision, strength, mobility and home management. Occupational Therapists develop a plan of care focused on patient’s goals in bathing, dressing, feeding, home and kitchen management, including meal prep. Occupational Therapists collaborate with patients and patient’s physician and other medical team members to ensure your home is equipped for safety and independence—through home modification, as necessary.
