Hospice Volunteers

St. Joseph Hospice Volunteers are available to provide support to our patients and their loved ones including running errands, preparing light meals and staying with our patient to give family members or caregivers a break.

In addition, our Volunteers are trained to lend emotional support and companionship to our patients, family members and caregivers.

Hospice Volunteers are interviewed and screened.  Then, each Volunteer participates in a comprehensive training which helps prepare them to be an important part of our Hospice team.
